Vedaant Thuse Bal, a senior at IISP, has been a central part of its MUN program from the start. As the Head of Substantive in IISPMUN ’23, he has played a key role in designing committees and their agendas. He has chaired economic agendas at three different MUNs, making this his fourth time in the position.
Beyond MUN, Vedaant co-leads Daricha, an organization actively providing over 200 girls in Afghanistan with education, testing, and certified diplomas. Additionally, he is co-authoring a research paper that explores the impact of trade between the Indies and Europe on European economic and technological development, with a particular focus on shipping cargoes and financials.
In his spare time, Vedaant enjoys spending time with his dog, reading, and intense games of Bluff with friends.
