Meet Mahira Ahuja, an energetic 17-year-old trying to navigate her way through life with her natural confidence and remarkable leadership acumen. Her proactive nature propels her to embrace unconventional opportunities, ensuring she leaves no stone unturned in her quest for excellence.

Passionate about writing, she often finds comfort and expression in the written word. Her love for traveling has taken her to various corners of the globe, broadening her perspective and enriching her understanding of different cultures. Mahira was selected for a highly selective student exchange program to Japan, which deepened her appreciation for global interconnectedness. Adding to her multiple experiences, Mahira seized the opportunity to attend a winter program focused on Artificial Intelligence at NUS University where she delved into the innovative world of technology, expanding her horizons in the field of AI.

Mahira is also deeply committed to social causes close to her heart. Actively volunteering for various initiatives centered around child rights, equality, animal rights, and environmental conservation, she channels her energy into creating positive change in her community and beyond.

In the realm of MUNs, Mahira is a seasoned participant and organizer, with her involvement spanning back to early 2021. From her beginnings as a delegate to her roles as Delegate Affairs Head and Director-General, and as an Executive Board member, she brings a wealth of experience to the table. As she gears up for IISP MUN 2024, Mahira eagerly anticipates guiding delegates through enriching debates, fostering their social, political, and environmental awareness with her insights and compassion.
