Greetings Delegates! I am Ishaan Gangwani, and I’m thrilled to serve as your Chairperson for the Disarmament & International Security Committee (DISEC) at IISP MUN 2024. It’s an opportunity that I am really looking forward to, especially to see the unique perspectives each of you brings.
The DISEC is a fascinating and crucial part of global diplomacy. These are complex and significant topics, and I’m excited to see how you represent your country’s stance on them.
I encourage you all to immerse yourself in your role. Understanding your country’s policies isn’t just about preparation; it’s about stepping into the shoes of a diplomat and seeing the world from a different viewpoint. One of the most rewarding aspects of IISPMUN is the collaboration and leadership skills you gain. This experience will be a chance to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to a global conversation.
